Customers are requesting to get a NSF fee column on the Deposit Summary report same column you can see on SIT Batch Detail List report. Please see the attached screen shots for reference.

Grayson County is requesting to turn off the automatic calculation of the late fees and penalties in SIT. Currently, there are a lot of factors affecting the late fees. For motor vehicle accounts, it has to be postmarked by the 10th of the month to avoid late filing penalty. For heavy equipment, it is the 20th. The receipt date also influences the fees, so they also have to check the receipt dates when making the payment. Grayson County would like to turn off this automatic feature and let them manually code the late fees.

We need an option to "Generate Correspondence" when we send Notice of Escrow to make a note on those accounts.

Kendra McAdoo at Wichita is requesting a feature to be added. She wants have the clerk who took the payment and print the receipt to have their name on the receipt for SIT.

We have a tax unit that only applies to Real Estate accounts and not B/P or SIT accounts as it is not a value based tax but an assessment based on acreage. We need to be able to remove the district from SIT in order to have the correct rate on the account. This district is overridden in TaxOffice 4, but still exists in SIT.

Hi Canny, We would like to request that the tax year on the YTD reports be on top of each page. Currently, it is only on page 1. This is helpful when we have to print the last page of several years. Thank you for your help. DShumway

Hi Canny, Currently when we run our Deposits from SMIGL, each batch lists every account number within each batch. We would like to request that the grand total only is showing, per batch. That is the way it is set up for our liability VIT accounts. Thank you, DShumway

The SIT Dealer Portal currently permits dealers to submit statements for upcoming months. Recently, one dealer filed a statement for the entire year of 2025 to avoid late filing penalties. Dealer Portal should not enable submissions for future months. We request that Spindle media to change the SIT Dealer portal to disallow the dealer from submitting statements for future months.

When creating a statement in the Dealer Portal the submission method is automatically defaulted to "Import Sales (CSV)". We need it to be defaulted to make someone select their submission method because this gives confusion when submitting a "no sales" month. They think that is what they are doing not realizing the import sales is defaulted so they push continue and then save for later to try and submit which they aren't able to do as they made it seem they need to report sales.

We need a feature in SIT that allows us to print the sales that a dealer has submitted via the Dealer Portal. We can view the sales but there is no way to export the data. This is needed for auditing purposes as well as providing proof of filing when the dealer is trying to renew their GDN with TXDMV. Currently we are having to request Spindle query this data for us.
