I can't figure out how the Override function works. Currently TC has the ability to override the amount or percentage of penalty, interest and collection penalty. I'm assuming this is for function, but just doesn't have all the same functionality.

Hi Catherine, SB1951 pertains to the rendition penalty. This penalty is due to not filing or not filing a timely rendition with the appraisal district. This penalty is applied to an account by the appraisal district and can only be removed by them. This is different from when an account becomes delinquent and begins to accrue penalties and interest from not paying before the delinquency date. Section 33.011 of the tax code refers to a waiver of penalty and interest.
