Statements in under a second
We've rebuilt the engine that generates tax statements. It's live for every office, and there's nothing to turn on or change. Statements from TaxOffice 4, Tax Client and the taxpayer portal all come from the new engine.
- Speed.A typical statement now takes under 1 second, down from about 4.7 seconds in September. Two changes got us there: a faster report service at the end of September, and the new statement engine on 5 October.
- Busy days.Statements keep moving when the whole office prints at once and the portal is busy at the same time.
- Unchanged.Your statement layouts and templates, and mass billing statements.

Receipts twice as fast
A typical receipt now takes about 1.3 seconds, down from 2.6 seconds in September. A new receipt engine is coming soon to make them faster still.

Try the new interface
from your user menu. It uses the full width of your screen and keeps the account in view as you move between tabs, with:- Account search with your recent accounts close at hand
- One account overview with summary and receivables together
- Payment history you can search and sort
- Every appraisal year on one screen, with side-by-side year compare
- Reports in one list, with favorites
Switch back to Classic from the same menu at any time; your data and permissions stay the same. To make the new interface the default for everyone in your office, contact your Spindlemedia account manager.
